Previously the General Manager for the UK subsidiary of Cyclicom Holdings Limited overseeing the launch of LookUpPage.com, allowing customers to manage their professional profiles online.

 

Mark is an experienced commercial professional with in depth knowledge of the e-commerce industry. Successfully delivered results in a variety of key management roles within a leading global e-commerce company Shopping.com, since its launch in the UK in 2000. Played a key role in making an internet start-up profitable, listing on the NASDAQ in 2004 (SHOP) and eventually acquired by eBay Inc in 2005 for over $600 million. Worked for Shopping.com, formerly known as DealTime, from 2000 - 2007 in a variety of roles including Product Manager, Head of Sales UK, Head of Sales Europe and finally as Managing Director for the UK.

 

Prior to working in e-commerce worked in traditional retail for Marks and Spencer and Harrods in Buying roles.

 

Educated at the University of Essex from 1989 - 1991 and achieved a BA Honours in History and Government.
